It says on the download link that it has not been maintained since 4.1, that may be the case, its outdated

I am not sure if that is the cause. I have a mod that doesn’t just crash it fails epically on certain maps. It kicks me to the hangar but leaves my tank in battle with no Commander so that has scored me a few thumbs downs and a warning from WG. I have since replaced Realistic historic gun sounds with the Good ole 4.3 PC gun sounds.
Realistic historic gun sounds is actually older than the 4.3 PC gun sounds.
One has major issues the other has tiny issues that still leave it playable even if certain maps have nearly silent gun fire.

The one thing both these mods have in common is they both use . XML files to support the gun files. Maybe because of placement of the file it causes conflicts on certain maps or its just the file type itself.

One thing I do know for certain is that I use a very old mod pack that was made in 2.4 and hasn’t been updated since 2.7 and it runs flawlessly in 5.3
And the only thing this mod pack doesn’t have that the other two do is XML files.
It uses many of the same kinds of mods like PC gun sounds albeit a much older version. It runs a very early sixth sense mod. a few other mods that I know have got to be even earlier than 2.4….and it may…or may not also run PC Engine sounds..shhhh

But like I said a much much older mod runs perfectly while the other two have had one issue or another on certain maps.

Which leaves me to believe that it has to be the XML file types that certain maps don’t do well with.
I am still trying to figure out a work around to the XML or maybe it is just because I am not certain how or where a XML file is supposed to be used. And to be perfectly honest I don’t even really know what an XML file is are they meant to be placed above or below the file associated with it do you extract the contents of the file and load them all together in the specified location …maybe that’s the problem I am having maybe the OP is in a similar situation.

I am not certain but my theory is the file type. But then I think why would the author leave it in a state where it wasn’t always working the way it should…

Should aim dot have odd number of pixels, so that it would be perfectly centered?

You didn’t install the YAML components, that’s what happened

        Thank you for your answer,

I didn’t see the “YAML components” you’re talking about, but it seems to work after reinstalling =) (I think I didn’t copy all the folders of the mods I wanted to install).

        • SP3ARH3AD79 September 27, 2018 / 5:39 pm

          File_name.yaml. Just a file type.

        o ok

    • Milos Ilic February 23, 2017 / 4:09 am

you just need to copy the battlescreenhud folders from the mod folder(for circles…) and replace them with battlescreenhud folders from the game data (data/gfx/UI)

  8. Anonymous November 27, 2016 / 12:50 pm

Unfortunately I cannot figure out what my problem is, I have a moto Maxx 2 and have downloaded the data files from the mod into the wargaming file and it does not change anything

  9. Anonymous November 27, 2016 / 2:05 am

Oh no, took me a loooong time before noticing that aim dot actually changes color when over enemy tank 😀

  10. Killer November 25, 2016 / 4:05 am

  11. xavier0156 November 24, 2016 / 10:55 pm

It was a bit weird…the reticle before was off… But was freaking accurate… While changing it to value of 10 to set right made it more awkward and hard to shoot and i always kept on missing and richocheting a lot… Mate i forgot the old value that was a bit off… I need to know what was it before…

    • Anonymous November 25, 2016 / 4:50 am

Values in my old mod files were gfx:-5 and gfx2 -10. Have you tried to use original aiming wedge (^)? or how about original aim wedge shape but same distinctive blue color as in this mod?

  12. Anonymous November 23, 2016 / 1:22 am

    Thank you for update.

  13. Anonymous November 13, 2016 / 5:32 pm

Is the blue aim dot a bit off center?

    • Maddoxkkm November 13, 2016 / 5:33 pm

Yes, it’s off by a bit and a fix and update is coming very soon!

      • Anonymous November 22, 2016 / 2:56 am

With trial & error method I ended up to value -9 in Gfx...\GunAim.txt file. Editing Gfx2 files doesn’t seem to have effect in my setup.

        17 0 10 10 0 -9 0 frame0
        0 10 10 10 0 -9 0 frame1

        • Maddoxkkm November 22, 2016 / 6:45 am

The correct fix should be -10. And yes you reminded me about the fix update. It should be out today.

        • kickass February 10, 2017 / 9:21 am

doncha think its useless to put so much effort in it? or do you mod yourself, that would be diff. ofc.

  14. Anonymous September 28, 2016 / 10:12 am

  15. Anonymous September 28, 2016 / 9:58 am

    • Maddoxkkm September 28, 2016 / 10:01 am

Ruckus has once did a video about installing mods on Mac OS. You can go check that out

  16. T Llll September 28, 2016 / 9:10 am

so it works on mac as well?

    • Maddoxkkm September 28, 2016 / 9:11 am

Yes. My mods are designed to work on and across all devices and platforms. Don’t even have any thoughts that my mods don’t work. But in return some performance decrease should be expected.

      • Anonymous September 28, 2016 / 9:40 am

thanks a lot! But this is my first time try to install a mod, so i downloaded it, and there are three folder, then i kept open files up all the way to a file called BattleScreenHUD, and what do i do after?
really looking forward to use it!!:)

        • Maddoxkkm September 28, 2016 / 9:48 am

Hi, you should only open to the Data folder, and then copy the data folder, paste it inside of net.wargaming.wot.blitz/files (Android)

  17. lyndon simon September 23, 2016 / 4:35 pm

How can i install this MOD? I’ve been trying to install this on my pc/windows 10 but nothing changed ingame, but i have successfully installed the anime skin, what folder should i put this mod?

    • Maddoxkkm September 23, 2016 / 5:01 pm

In the HUD mod, there are 3 category of stuff you have to choose from. The reticle, aim circle and the sixth sense icon. The 3 folders represent those 3 category of mods. It’s for the users to choose the combination that they felt like using.

      • Anonymous September 28, 2016 / 7:26 am

        how do we choose it?

        • Maddoxkkm September 28, 2016 / 8:15 am

It’s inside the zip file. They are in separate folders

      • Anonymous September 28, 2016 / 7:31 am

i’m using a mac air and i have no idea how to install the mods……help needed:)

      • T Llll September 28, 2016 / 7:33 am

i don’t know how to install it on a mac air….need help:)

  18. Darwin September 22, 2016 / 7:38 am

Hey mate! Was wondering what that icon with an A inside a crosshair/binos is for? I play Blitz on Android and Windows 10 (two separate accounts) and I have not found an option that suggests the usage of such icon. Thanks in advance for your comments

    • Maddoxkkm September 22, 2016 / 7:42 am

The thing that looks like a capital letter A? Inside the reticle? Isn’t that for the aim?

      • Darwin September 22, 2016 / 7:44 am

Yep! That’s the icon I ask about. You mean that is for aiming? As in auto aim? I don’t seem to get it in my devices

  20. Kurt rockstar September 17, 2016 / 3:55 pm

It will not let me download your mod 😦

    • Maddoxkkm September 17, 2016 / 7:13 pm

what device you are using? if you are using Android then i would recommend you using Google Chrome when downloading the mod
