I am not sure if that is the cause. I have a mod that doesn’t just crash it fails epically on certain maps. It kicks me to the hangar but leaves my tank in battle with no Commander so that has scored me a few thumbs downs and a warning from WG. I have since replaced Realistic historic gun sounds with the Good ole 4.3 PC gun sounds.
Realistic historic gun sounds is actually older than the 4.3 PC gun sounds.
One has major issues the other has tiny issues that still leave it playable even if certain maps have nearly silent gun fire.

The one thing both these mods have in common is they both use . XML files to support the gun files. Maybe because of placement of the file it causes conflicts on certain maps or its just the file type itself.

One thing I do know for certain is that I use a very old mod pack that was made in 2.4 and hasn’t been updated since 2.7 and it runs flawlessly in 5.3
And the only thing this mod pack doesn’t have that the other two do is XML files.
It uses many of the same kinds of mods like PC gun sounds albeit a much older version. It runs a very early sixth sense mod. a few other mods that I know have got to be even earlier than 2.4….and it may…or may not also run PC Engine sounds..shhhh

But like I said a much much older mod runs perfectly while the other two have had one issue or another on certain maps.

Which leaves me to believe that it has to be the XML file types that certain maps don’t do well with.
I am still trying to figure out a work around to the XML or maybe it is just because I am not certain how or where a XML file is supposed to be used. And to be perfectly honest I don’t even really know what an XML file is are they meant to be placed above or below the file associated with it do you extract the contents of the file and load them all together in the specified location …maybe that’s the problem I am having maybe the OP is in a similar situation.

I am not certain but my theory is the file type. But then I think why would the author leave it in a state where it wasn’t always working the way it should…

Should aim dot have odd number of pixels, so that it would be perfectly centered?

Are the width/height of your screen an odd number of pixels? (no, they’re not)

You didn’t install the YAML components, that’s what happened

        Thank you for your answer,

I didn’t see the “YAML components” you’re talking about, but it seems to work after reinstalling =) (I think I didn’t copy all the folders of the mods I wanted to install).

you just need to copy the battlescreenhud folders from the mod folder(for circles…) and replace them with battlescreenhud folders from the game data (data/gfx/UI)

It was a bit weird…the reticle before was off… But was freaking accurate… While changing it to value of 10 to set right made it more awkward and hard to shoot and i always kept on missing and richocheting a lot… Mate i forgot the old value that was a bit off… I need to know what was it before…

Values in my old mod files were gfx:-5 and gfx2 -10. Have you tried to use original aiming wedge (^)? or how about original aim wedge shape but same distinctive blue color as in this mod?

With trial & error method I ended up to value -9 in Gfx...\GunAim.txt file. Editing Gfx2 files doesn’t seem to have effect in my setup.

        17 0 10 10 0 -9 0 frame0
        0 10 10 10 0 -9 0 frame1

Yes. My mods are designed to work on and across all devices and platforms. Don’t even have any thoughts that my mods don’t work. But in return some performance decrease should be expected.

Hi, you should only open to the Data folder, and then copy the data folder, paste it inside of net.wargaming.wot.blitz/files (Android)

In the HUD mod, there are 3 category of stuff you have to choose from. The reticle, aim circle and the sixth sense icon. The 3 folders represent those 3 category of mods. It’s for the users to choose the combination that they felt like using.
